this newsletter is a personal-public archive. an autoethnographic sharing of what is impacting me in the world; because lived experience is a valid account of historical events (especially when pinned next to capital H, History.)

i write about:

• identity issues, (un)wellness, (un)popular culture, the marginalized/subaltern,

• music+poetry that inspires me/artists i love/anime/films

• living slowly in a fast city (they might call this one sustainability, but i call this necessary preservation), moving slowly in a traumatized body,

• things i don’t understand/things i’m trying to understand/things i’ll never understand but will ask the questions anyway (they might call this one spirituality, philosophy, psychology, theology, etc. etc.)

• feelings… all the, so many, big, too very big, feelings

i believe in Trying. i believe in Truths. i believe in Tales. the things i want to say, but shouldn’t be said. or have been told not to say. or have been afraid to say. i am writing them all for the sake of feeling a little freer, living a little more courageously, and truthing as honestly as i tale.
